Detail Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu

Our airport representative will welcome you at Tribhuvan International airport, Kathmandu and s/he will be displaying a Nepal Hiking Himalaya signboard outside the airport terminal. You will be then transferred to your respective hotel in our private tourist vehicle. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2
Flight to Lukla; Trek to Phakding

An early morning start takes us to Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu for the 35 minute picturesque flight to Tenzing and Hillary Airport at Lukla at 2804meters. We begin our trek towards Phakding at 2610meters. After that, you will get to observe beautiful Sherpa settlement Choplung. The trail goes on by the side of the Dudh Koshi valley before climbing to Ghat (2530m). Then, track climbs tenderly once more about an hour to final destination Phakding where we spend a night.

Day 3
Trek to Namche Bazaar

On the way, from Phakding, today we can have a scene of an arresting pine forest, all along Dudh Koshi River crossing numerous suspension bridges through Sherpa villages Benkar, Chimoa, Monjo and Jorsole. National Park permit check spot with the peaceful view of Mt. Thamserku (6618 m). The lane continues throughout the Dudh Koshi riverbed to the meeting point of Bhote Koshi and Dudh Koshi Rivers. Now, the trail climbs slowly crossing high Tenzing- Hilary suspension bridge. On the way, stimulating glimpse of Mt. Everest right up next Nuptse- Lhotse edge will be spotted. Mounting for 3 hours, the magnificent pine forest will end reaching a prosperous trading and administrative village Namche Bazar. We stay this night in hotel.

Day 4
Acclimatization

We will spend a day here in order to become accustomed and adjust to the thinning of the air, as well as a short trek where a museum is celebrating the traditional customs of the Sherpa people. Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) and health experts advise to hold at least one extra night. There is a day tour where one can visit Sagarmatha (Everest) National park on the small hill where we can look at a range of things related to the first Everest climbers, Sherpa culture and learn about the various plants and animal life of the Everest region. After that we can take entertaining acclimatization side trip to large traditional Sherpa village Khumjung with the view of Thamserku, Khaantaiga, Ama Dablam, Mt, Everest aqnd many more. In the evening, we return back to Namche Bazar for overnight.

Day 5
Trek to Tengboche

From Namche Bazaar he trek continues along the rushing glacial waters of the Dudh Koshi with wonderful views of the mountains. We trek to an altitude of 3860 meters today. The fairly flat way will take us today to view wonderful landscape of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and close up view of Thamserku, Khangtaiga. The path continues and we can observe wild lives like musk deer (a herd of Himalayan Thar) colorful pheasant (Danphe, National bird). Then the path slopes down to Dudh Koshi River where series of picturesque water driven prayer wheels. Cross suspension bridge over Dudh Koshi River a steep climb through pine and juniper forest, walk about 2 hours bring you to Tenboche. With the background of Ama Dablam, Nupte, Mt. Everest and many more peaks, the famous Gomba, Tengboche Monastery can be spotted.

Day 6
Trek to Dingboche

Today, the trail drops to Debuche, crosses another exhilarating suspension bridge on the Imja Khola, and climbs to Pangboche amongst thousands of Mani stones. We can see gigantic view of Ama Dablam and the track lines up to the upstream closer to Imja River quite pleasant up toward Imja valley. The trail at present show the way us to Dingboche the last Sherpa settlement with the stunning terraced field enveloped by stone wall to avoid barley, buckwheat and potatoes from the cold wind and grazing animals. We stay at hotel at night.

Day 7
Acclimatization

Today, we trek to Dingboche. Dingboche is a fascinating jumble of small fields encircled by stone walls shielding the crops of barley and potatoes from the chilly winds. It is occupied mainly through the monsoon months, when big numbers of yaks are made to graze in the valley meadow. At the back of the lodge, the massive rock looks of Taweche look as if we are moving towards the heaven. Chukkung is another sensible option. The sights are unbelievable in this valley; the soaring south face of Lhotse to the north, Island Peak in the core of the valley and the fluted ice walls of nameless peaks is lined up in the southern end of the valley.

Day 8
Trek to Lobuche

On this day, we come up the small point behind the village above Pheriche Valley. At the top, Taweche and Cholatse (6440m) strikes us with its image which seems to slope frontward from across the valley in the west. To the north, Lobuche Peak (6119m) and the snowfields of Cho La is prominent. The walking is now by and large flat on wide-open fields, but make sure that you are well hydrated. Then, we cross the Khumbu Khola at Dughla (4620m) and take a light lunch at the foot of the huge terminal moraines of Khumbu Glacier. The incredible view of Pumori (7145m) and, across the border in Tibet, Changtse (7550m), are seen at the top of the valley at the same time Everest disappears behind the gigantic walls of Nuptse and Lhotse.

Day 9
Trek to Everest Base Camp (5365 meters) then back to Gorak Shep (5180 meters)

Today is a challenging day. We walk along the Khumbu Glacier and up to Everest Base Camp at 5365 m, the closest you can get to Mt. Everest without climbing equipment. The view of the Khumbu Icefall from Base Camp is spectacular. A steady way up permits us to build the slow, steady pace necessary when walking at high height. When we arrive at the moraines of Changri Nup Glacier, we make a sequence of small up and down walking over a unsteady track lined with cairns that shows the way ultimately to the unexpected glacial sands of Gorak Shep (5160m). And then, we consequently, head off towards the Everest Base Camp. We return back to Gorak Shep for the night.

Day 10
Hike up to Kalapatthar (5545 meters) early in the morning and trek down to Periche (4200 meters)

Today is another difficult yet rewarding days of the trek. Most of morning in this day is spent climbing Mount. KalaPatthar (5545m) The climber gets the most magnificent mountain panorama: Everest, the highest point on the planet at 8848 meters, tower directly to the front and on all sides come into view, the other giants, Nuptse, Pumori, Chagatse, Lhotse and countless others. We make a quick descent to Gorak Shep, a tiny settlement at 5180 meters then trek down to Periche.

Day 11
Trek to Namche Bazaar (3441 meters)

From Pheriche we take a somewhat different way down to Orsho, then moving to Pangboche village. Here we can see the oldest monastery in the region which contains what is said to be the scalp and bones of a ‘Yeti’, or the abominable snowman. Leaving mountains at the back of us, our descent get us through Tengboche Monastery at elevation of 3860 meters before continuing back to the town of Namche Bazaar at 3441meters. We arrive back to Namche Bazaar in the afternoon.

Day 12
Trek to Lukla

Today, go back over the main track down to Dudh Koshi retracing to Phakding. Following the track we reach to Lukla scaling different Sherpa villages crossing a suspension bridge above Thado Koshi. For about 45 minutes, we climb to accomplish the entire trek and we reconfirm flight ticket and see off to local porters.

Day 13
Flight to Kathmandu

After travelling 35 minutes, we fly Back Kathmandu, in the morning and move back to the hotel.

Day 14
Departure

Our airport representative will see you off at the airport as final farewell on your wonderful trip of Nepal
