The peak has height of 6501 m from sea level and it is one of the most technical and difficult peak for the climbing. This is known as the fluted peak because of the geographical shape of this mountain. Though the mountain is very technical outstanding views from the top will make all the hard work worthwhile.

Shinga Chuli Peak – Neighbor of Mt. Annapurna

The mountain will be climbed from the long ridge thrown down from the Tarke Kang (Glacier Dome) which separates the southern and western Annapurna Glaciers. Most of the attempts to climb this spectacular mountain concentrated on the face and ridges seen from the viewpoint. The southwestern ridge of the mountain is connected to Tent Peak.
