The trail consists of the amazing people in and around the valley. Their culture and traditions will lure you to visit such a prolific place again and again. The trail is similar to that of the Annapurna Circuit Trek. The journey from Chamje to Koto is very luxurious with the hilly landscape view and forest trail. Once you cross the Marshyangdi River the steep portal of the Nar Phu Valley arrives.

Nar Phu Valley Trek – trail status

Though the entry place is very narrow as well as forested the valley consists of the large open expanse of snow peaks, ancient village and grazing settlements. Until 2002 the trail was untouched. Though it is open now for all still fewer trekkers visit this place. In fact, most of the trekkers don’t know the beauty of this place. You can trek the trail unexplored and feel the atmosphere less experienced by others.

Nar Phu Valley Trek – Passes & Gompas

The Tashi Lhakhang Gompa is very famous in the region. Once you reach the Phu village you can give pilgrim visit to this monastery to receive the blessing of the Lama Rimpoche. The village is often described as the timeless village. Another highlight of this trek is the crossing of Kang La Pass (5315m). The village of Manang can be reached. The view of Mountains like Annapurna II, Gangapurna, Tilicho can be seen. You can carry on for Tilicho Trek or Annapurna Circuit from here. The journey will return back to Chamje. Bus drive will take you back to Kathmandu.
